The Well at Bombardopolis

Rich has been working up at Bombarde this week, helping put the casing in the new well that will help provide water for the mission compound there. In the background, you can see the education building and behind it, the hospital.
Steve Leach (red shirt), Steve Revis (well driller, and missionary to Haiti) and unidentified worker.
Up.......

ready...........
and down.

Rich and Keith are in Bombarde again today, pouring cement around the top fifty feet of casing to seal the hole. They took the camera, so maybe I can post more pictures of the work soon.

Work is starting on the new hospital expansion at Bombarde, also. Rich was able to help Steve a bit yesterday with staking out the foundation--it's a busy time up there.

For those of you who've asked if our house is started yet---no, that comes after the hospital project, as the Lord provides the funds. We do have a floor plan.:)

I wonder how far you live from our daughter Bethanie. She is a nurse practitioner working at a clinic at La Source which is about an hour's drive northwest of Anse Rouge. In 1989-1990 we lived in Cadiac out on the South peninsula.

We have an adopted son who is of Haitian blood. His mother was living in Florida when we adopted him however, his grandmother lives in Porte Prince. I do not know if she is still living or not. I have been to Haiti several times to visit and long to return. God bless as you serve him.

It is good to hear of God's work in Haiti. I went to Sheldon church with Rich. This is Roxane (Martin) Miller. We are living on the Hopi Indian reservation in Northern AZ, helping with the work here.I always enjoy hearing about the lives of those from my past that I have not seen in a long time.

Amazing who all you find on the internet! It is especially exciting to come across relatives and hear what is happening in their lives and to see where God has led them! If you ever come through WI and need a place to stay stop in. Also Bob said to tell you if you ever come we'd love to have you share about the work in Haiti at church.

Hey, it's great to hear from new and old friends, even long-lost relatives. =)

Roxane, do you blog about your work there in AZ?
